sorry! I just figured out how to moderate my comments.
Sort of forgot that I enabled that feature.
Will try to pay better attention.
Blondes, please excuse me.

What do you think?
2Ch:7:14: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Do you think that what is happening to us is meant for humbling?
Or maybe the Devil did it.
Ge:50:20: But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
In either case, if we choose not to follow God, there is a price to be paid.
What will that price be for you? Your sanity, your peace, your joy?
2Tm:1:7: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Ph'p:4:7: And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Joh:16:22: And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
Sanity, peace and joy can be yours even in your present situation. But only with God.

God's most important job for WOMEN
We sometimes don't realize the magnitude of the responsibility that God has entrusted us with.
I was reading Lady Lydia's blog last week and ran across this.
What really struck me was that the home is a powerful place and EVERYONE comes from one. EVERYONE. Whether you live in a mansion or a shack, the physical place makes no difference.
It is the atmosphere created inside the dwelling place that makes all the difference. Did you get that? It is the atmosphere created inside the dwelling place that makes all the difference.
We signed a song in church a long time ago about setting the atmosphere for worship, for ushering in the presence of the Lord.
What sort of atmosphere reigns in your dwelling place?

Encouraging myself in the Lord . . .
HE has:
~ saved me.
~ washed away my sins never to be remembered by HIM again.
~ reunited my family.
~ blessed me with children.
~ met my needs daily.
~ kept HIS Word.
~ placed me in situations to serve HIM.
~ taken precious people from my life.
~ equipped me daily.
~ purchased my eternal life with HIS blood.
~ given me purpose.
~ changed my priorities.
This and so very much more.
How can I not see fit to praise HIM?

There are only two times . . .
when God is worthy of our praise; when we feel like praising and when we don't.
Even when things are NOT going the way you think or feel that they should, God is still worthy.
What we think or feel is irrelevant.

Comfy?
During yesterday's sermon, Pastor said something about foundations being shaken. He used other scriptures to make his point but the word shaken stuck with me.
I looked it up. Ten references in the Old and eleven in the new. This is the one that hit me.
Job:16:11: God hath delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked.
Job:16:12: I was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder: he hath also taken me by my neck, and shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark.
At ease? Job admitted it! And he knew that God had allowed all the things that were happening to him. He'd been set up! If he did it to Job, will he do it to us?
1Pe:4:12: Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
1Pe:4:13: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
Excuse me but DUH!!!
This goes right along with the contentment and complacency that HE is dealing with me about.
When we are in our comfort zone, God will send something to shake us. Take your "security". Send illness. Send death. Not that he won't send these things anyway, but when you least expect it
. . . HE beckons.
